Alice Visits Grandfather Trout

This painting/photomanipulation is based on a scene from one of my favorite books, "Little, Big" by John Crowley. It won the World Fantasy Award in 1986. Alice in this case is Daily Alice, and she's having a chat with the fellow in the water, Grandfather Trout. The castle in the distance represents her home, Edgewood. If you've never read the book, I highly recommend it.

The list of contributing stock is huge. I've been working on this piece, on and off, since March, and it's seen many versions. I hope I can remember all the photos I used. If I miss one of yours, please let me know.

I can't find out name of stock artist who contributed the distant trees and sky. Came from a package I bought, possibly from Renderosity, long ago.
